Kristen Jones is a digital media and fine artist. She is a lifelong art educator, music fan, and world traveler.  She has worked with a variety of mediums and in many locations around the world. Her work addresses history, culture, and environmental issues.

Kristen has worked as a photographer in New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Taipei, and Cancun shooting photos for magazines, websites, designers, models, bands, concerts, and various events. She has traveled to numerous countries to view art, culture, historic sites, and natural beauty. She is an avid concert-goer and photographed hundreds of concerts she has attended.

Kristen has been a practicing artist since the 1980s. She has worked with painting, batik, drawing, collage, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art. Her current work combines photography and digital painting in Photoshop.

Kristen is Head of Arts Department, Arts and Digital Media Coordinator in Providence, Rhode Island. She teaches studio art, digital media, art history, and yearbook publication at an independent arts high school.
